This is an action for an injunction and to set aside a special assessment made by the defendant, Town of Cold Spring, upon
the plaintiffs' land in the amount of $791.94, for cleaning out what is known as the 'Williams Town Ditch,' located in Jefferson
county, and which is contiguous to the land of the plaintiffs. The answer of Alex J. Schremp, county treasurer of Jefferson county, admits the assessment of $791.94 against the plaintiffs
was placed upon the tax roll, and further alleges that he will proceed to sell the real estate in accordance with the Wisconsin
Statutes unless he is restrained or otherwise ordered.
